Florida Automobile Insurance Exclusions

Florida Auto Insurance Glossary:
Automobile Insurance Exclusions:

The term exclusion refers to certain clauses that are not included in the insurance policy. The insurance company does not compensate for exclusions. The policyholders have to bear the expenses out of their own pockets. All insurance coverage including automobile insurance is subject to certain exclusions.

Typically, the automobile insurance company writes the exclusion clause in the insurance policy. However, the policyholder can also request the insurance provider to include the exclusion clause in the policy terms. Once the clause is included in the policy and signed it becomes legally binding on the policyholder, the policyholder cannot claim for compensation for an exclusion.
